On March 30th, I achieved what most website owners crave, top placement. I claimed #1 and #3 positions in Yahoo! This is perhaps a short-lived thrill, so I've captured the moment: http://www.maine-webworks.com/number-one-yahoo.html.

I also found myself ranking 11th in MSN. Not bad for a Maine website designer.
Consider this statistic on search.yahoo.com. There were 422,000 search results found for the keyword phrase, "Maine website designers." That is a lot of competition for a Mainer! Especially, when over 80% of the listings were those multi page link farms that have thousands of web designers, programmers, developers, marketing professionals and etc., from around the country and Maine.
